NERC/ERO Board of Trustees approves NPCC PRC -006-1 Automatic UFLS.

In accordance with the NPCC Regional Standard Development Procedure (RSDP) a Regional Standard for Automatic Underfrequency Load Shedding PRC-006-NPCC -1 and its Implementation Plan were recently presented to the NERC /ERO Board of Trustees for the Board’s consideration.
On February 9th, 2012 the NERC BOT approved the Standard and it’s Implementation Plan.
The Standard will now be presented to FERC with subsequent filings to the applicable Provincial authorities.
